Dylan Monfried is a School Psychology doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University with an academic and professional foundation in child and adolescent development. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Dylan gained experience working with children and families in educational, clinical, and therapeutic environments.

Dylan specializes in administering comprehensive psychological assessments to provide detailed insights into a child’s cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning. Skilled in administering a range of standardized tools, she ensures that each assessment is conducted with care and accuracy, providing a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the child’s strengths and areas of need.

Beyond her specialization in assessments, she has hands-on experience in implementing social-emotional learning programs for preschoolers, providing therapy for middle and high school students, and working with children with autism spectrum disorder through play therapy. She has worked within FIU’s Summer Treatment Program, private practices, clinics, and schools, where she developed a practical, collaborative approach to working with children and their families.

Dylan’s commitment to thorough, reliable assessments and her attention to detail enable her to provide meaningful data that guides individualized interventions. Her work is rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring that the results translate into actionable strategies to support children’s academic, social, and emotional success.
