Dr. Lauryn Young
Lauryn Young, Ph.D., NCSP, is a licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist practicing in Boca Raton & Delray Beach, Florida. She earned her doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina. She continued her education by completing a school-neuropsychological post-doctoral fellowship that provided further specialization in assessment and therapy through the lens of neuroscience-based treatment. Throughout the years she has worked in a variety of assessment and treatment centers, such as in-patient residential hospitals, private practice, neuropsychiatry clinics, and the public school district. Through these experiences, Dr. Young discovered the importance of working alongside families to reach solutions. She continues to provide her expertise as an adjunct instructor at both Nova Southeastern University and the University of South Carolina.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Young continues to serve in a leadership role within the school district as the psychology internship coordinator and lead school psychologist. She provides clinical consultation and guidance to her colleagues across the schools in Palm Beach County. This role uniquely equips her with the knowledge to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations that result in meaningful and relevant school-based recommendations.
